Hi people,
I have a MBP (C2D, 15) with a US keyboard, to which I am connecting a UK (EN-GB) windows keyboard. On the whole, the external keyboard works fine (I don't use the £ sign much), however there are some keys which I'd like to re-assign. In particular, the backslash key, located just above the windows/command key produces the symbols § and ± (shifted). This doesn't change even if I use the 'British' setting in the input menu. Apparently, the external backslash key is mapped to the internal (§/±) key, which is located below the Escape key.
I know I could work around it by defining a new keyboard definition in ukelele, but is there another way to do it?
Thanks,
Am.
