Hi all,

Can someone recommend a good Mouse / Keyboard combination to use with my private Mac and my Business Windows Notebook? It should switch seemless. I prefer a wireless adapter to plug in into my hub so the laptop plugged in into the hub always uses a accessories plugged into the hub (Monitors, Power, Usb)

Thanks

I use USB-attached (wired) mighty mouse and dasKeyboard for Mac. Share keyboard, mouse and peripherals (no video) between two systems at a time (MBP, Studio more often and swap in my Dell Latitude work laptop for one of them too) using an IO Gear GUS4C2 KM switch.

It has:

USB-C 2x Gen 2 (Thunderbolt 3 compatible)
3x USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 (blue) support up to 10W total for 3x USB-A + 1 USB-C
USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 (black) support up to 10W total for 3x USB-A + 1 USB-C
Data rate up to 10 Gbps
PD 3.0 / 100W to port 1 host computer only (total of 85W can be charged (less 15W to power the switch))

I'm sure they and other manufacturers offer KVM if video is part of your requirement.

i use a generic microsoft mouse, for both my Mac and PC. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. I also use a Keychron keyboard for both, and they're hooked up to a KVM, so I switch between my work laptop and my Studio. The switching is flawless and works well. This keeps my desk neat and uncluttered as I have two computers, and one set of keyboard/mouse.
