I have an iMac in my bedroom which I can mirror the display on my TV in my living room using the Apple TV. My question is how to control it.

I live in a basement - sorry it's a Lower Ground flat according to Estate Agents - so the walls are pretty thick. As a result there doesn't seem to be a wireless keyboard/mouse that will work in the living room from my bedroom.

Are there any other options to do this I don't know of?

cheers

Ben

Bluetooth peripherals are your only option and those may not penetrate your thick walls

Nope

Bluetooth doesn't cut it either. There's no way to send bluetooth or any other KB/Mouse signals over ethernet or wifi is there?

I use powerline adaptors to get ethernet/wifi round the house and they work a treat for that
