Keyboard not responding periodically

I am getting this thing where my keyboard and trackpad will stop working every so often for a minute or two at a time. I am reading this is a known MacBook Pro issue but I cannot find a fix for it.

I have searched Google in every way possible and I cannot find this..

Can anyone kindly give me a hand? It's really annoying

Had a friend with a similar problem with her Santa Rosa MBP. In her case, both the trackpad and keyboard would stop working for a day and then randomly start working the next day. Couldn't figure it out, so we ended up going to the Apple store so they could work on it. They had no clue and said they would have to send it in for repairs. Took two weeks, but it works flawlessly now.

Yeah... i just had to go there and its 45 mins away from me to have the logic board replaced now i gotta redo it for this?

i thought buying a macbook pro was going to make my life better/easier.

i have 10.5.4 and i read 10.5.1 had a fix in it but apparently not.
