Hello,

since my trackpad was dead i decided to open the macbook up (2018 model) and have a look at the connection wires.

I plugged out the battery connector and then i plugged out the whole trackpad and cleaned it.

after putting everything back up, the macbook is now botting with the fans at full speed, keyboard is not working, trackpad is not working and the macbook in general is SUPER SLOW.

I have a decent amount of experience in dissamblying laptops, therefore i doubt i made any mistake that could lead in such behaviour.

not sure how to proceed, the macbook is not usable at all, very slow

tried booting in recovery mode..was still super slow

after exiting im stuck in a boot loop chime, apple logo appears with sound and loops

Is the battery detected? If not, this means the MacBook CPU is being throttled even when connected to a charger.
how can i check if the battery is detected? Weird thing is that before i took out the trackpad to clean it it was running just fine (except the trackpad which was not working - due to the coffee spill) after cleaning the wires, connectors, ports of the trackpad it was super slow and after booting in recovery mode it's basically partially dead.

just a boot loop

With the MacBook off, do you see any indication that it's charging?

You may be better off taking the unit ti the Apple store to see if they can diagnose the issue.
