Okay, I'm having trouble with the keyboard on my Quadra 610. A few months ago the Quadra stop keeping the correct time when I turned it on. I assume that some battery has died but I don't know where its at. Anyway, when I hit a key, I get pop/beep sound and I have to hold the key down for a few seconds to get it to work. The mouse that is connected to the keyboard works just fine. Is the keyboard dying?

Nope. You've inadvertently activated "Sticky Keys".

Open the "Easy Access" control panel and turn all options off.

Sticky Keys is activated using special keystroke combinations.

Your date & time has reverted due to a flat PRAM battery. You can easily replace it. They last anything from 3 to 6 years. It's a 3.6v half AA size Lithium battery. Seen here it is the blue rectangle towards the bottom, left of center. The color of yours may be different.
