My SR MBP is about 5mo old and my first Mac. I've upgraded to Leopard. For the last 3-4wk I've been having a keyboard issue. Occasionally when I'm working the computer will quit responding to the keyboard. It will respond to trackpad and button input perfectly. I can surf with safari, but if I try to type in an address or something nothing will happen.

It seems to occur a little more often if I'm "multi-tasking". For instance, when I tried to type in one document while printing another today it happened. If I restart it goes away. Sometimes it seems like a combination of keystrokes will eliminate it, but I can't always recreate that and it tends to happen again fairly soon unless I restart.

A started using VMware Fusion a little before this began. It does not happen only when Fusion is running thought. Just the only software change that I might be able to attribute it to.

This is my first Mac and other than an early software problem it's been very satisfying. Unfortunately this problem always reminds me of my old quirky Dell, making me restart every now and then.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
