Hi i recently brought a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000 Keyboard Mouse Combo. I installed the drivers for mac from the microsoft site. click here

the only problem is that to get the extra keys above the f keys to work properly. i have to click on "System Preferences>Microsoft Keyboard" first to get them to work. from what i can tell this is a bug.

i was thinking that the keyboard is not being saved to the pram section so on rebooting it is active.

any ideas on what i might do to fix/resolve this would be great.

This comment is only valid if you are on =>10.8

Just clicked on the link, it seems the drivers are for 10.4-10.7 only.
