The 1, q, a and z keys on my white Apple keyboard have stopped working. All the others are fine. I have cleaned the keyboard, taken off the four which do not work and recleaned, but they still don't work.

Any ideas or is it really dead?

Thanks

PS If you read this in the Hardware Help forum, apologies if you re-read this but I had no replies.

not 100 % sure on this, but seems odd that they are in a row vertically-- is this an iMac keyboard?

Yeah, 1, q, a, z... and ±, Tab, Caps lock, Shift, fn, cntrl and 2, w, s, x. alt all work fine - as does everything else.

I've looked at International and Speech settings, and its not them.

The vertical aspect made me think it was one component, but have no idea on the keyboard tech.
