My 2016 MBP has been having some issues with the keyboard lately and I know that there's the service program on it. im having sticking keys and some that flat out don't work anymore. I've been putting it off for a while as I use my machine in clamshell mode most of the time with a Magic Keyboard. I've finally got the time to take it in today. I noticed this week that I got a service battery reminder. The machine has 170 cycles and is at 71 percent but bounces around 66-81 percent health. I know if they replace the keyboard that the whole top case including battery is replaced. My question is is this an issue for them? Will I have to get a new battery first so they don't think im trying to take advantage of the keyboard program just to get a new battery?
