I'm used to using crtl-c etc. (on a PC keyboard) and I am finding that the command key is too close to the other keys to do it all with one hand (My hands aren't big but its harder too do.)

Is there a setting so I can still use a Mac Keyboard (which I like other then that) but have the crtl key act as the command key?

Thanks,

uMac

You could change the shortcuts for your most often used commands by going into::apple:
System Prefrences
Keyboard&Mouse
Keyboard Shortcuts tab

It looks like this:
