I have a wired keyboard from my old Mac Pro 2009. It has served me well. I love it. But I spilled some water and it ran underneath it and now it doesn't function properly any more. I can type just fine, but the command key doesn't do anything anymore so if I want to say copy & paste something it doesn't do it. I can cmnd+C all I like, pasting it just gives me the letter v, so shortcuts don't work any more.

Is there any way I could fix this? Or have it fixed?

I am at the moment using my even older keyboard from the iMac 2006. That works but scrolling with the arrow keys doesn't work well, not in Sequoia that is. It worked perfectly well with Ventura.

Anyway, since I want a wired keyboard and Apple doesn't make them any more, is there a good wired alternative I could purchase?

You might be able to find a good condition replacement on eBay. Otherwise, there's probably not much you can do unless you're comfortable attempting surgery on the keyboard.

It's time for a new keyboard.

I recently got this one:
... and it's been ok for me.

Yeah, probably.

I recently got this one:
I can't have a keyboard looking like that, but I see it also comes as a Mac lookalike. So yes, this would do, but...

... and it's been ok for me.
... just ok?

"just ok?"

Well, the keyboard it replaced was about 25 years old and looked like this:

It was so old I couldn't read the letters on the keys any longer.

The new one is fine. I particularly like the small built-in USB hub. It has 2 USBa ports and 1 USBc port. The ports may be limited to USB2 speeds, however. Still good enough for me.

I had one of those back in the day! The one I had didn't have the media keys up top, I don't think, but otherwise it was the same from Macally — a layout clone of the Apple Keyboard II (but of course without the Alps switches). Mine was bondi blue at the bottom as well.

My first iMac (1999 IIRC) was also bondi blue. Quick snapshot with iPhone:
