Keyboard replacement program on refurbished 2019 MBP 15

Looking to replace a 2015 MBP that's on its last legs with a refurbished 2019 15-inch. I'm assuming it's true but would like confirmation if the 4-year keyboard replacement program extends to refurbs from their original date of purchase as they did if you purchased the machine new.
