Hi guys,

Apologies in advance as I'm sure this has been asked before, but does anyone have any anecdotal evidence as to how long the Keyboard Service Program takes for these laptops?

I'm still using my 13" MacBook Pro (2016 I think) and some of the keys are basically unusable now, which I gather is not uncommon. My problem is that I use this for my day-to-day work and stories of it taking a week to fix are just not doable for me.

If it helps I'm in the UK and would presumably be dropping it off in-store.

Thanks!

The work itself takes no more than an hour. The total time will depend on the workload of the service center. It would make more sense if you ask at the place where you want it done. My advice: go to an authorized service provider and talk to them about minimizing downtime. They are often quite flexible.
