I bought a Mac Mini M2 and connected my Logitech G915 TKL via the Lightspeed USB dongle

All works great apart from every single boot the Keyboard setup assistant is popping up asking me to press the key next to the left shift which I do and then it is happy again until the next boot when the exact same process keeps occuring

I installed the Logitech G Hub software but that hasn't resolved it either, any ideas?

Also I managed to change the keyboard layout so the 2 numeric key maps to " instead of @ and vice versa but there are some odd little glitches elsewhere, e.g. the \ key is actually ` which is a bit annoying as I do a lot of Windows sysadmin work in my job so I'm constantly having to use the backslash and keep ending up with the ` instead without noticing! Is there any way to resolve that or is that just a quirk of using a PC layout keyboard on a Mac?

(British/UK keyboard)

I added Karabiner, the free Keyboard macro facility. It removed the nag for my K811 and helped several other keyboards remapping keys.
