I love keyboard shortcuts. If an application don't have them, I create them with System Preferences or Keyboard Maestro.

However, there are some shortcuts I have missed for a long time, and can't seem to create. They are all located in dialogue windows.

Is there a simple way to create shortcuts in dialogues, with System Preference or Keyboard Maestro? Or any other app for that matter.

Example attached. This is from the Filemaker Replace dialogue, where I'd like to create a Keyboard shortcut for the Specify button as well as the Replace button.

Any suggestions?

Tab to move the marker around, spacebar to "click" the marked Element, Enter always "clicks" the blue button.

for this to work you have to enable it in System Preferences / Keyboard / Shortcuts, at the bottom.

not exactly hat you wanted but maybe it helps.

Thanks, I am aware of that but I can't work with that setting. It clutters up my brain. :p
