keyboard shortcut question...

hi guys.
sorry just a stupid quick question.
if you dont have an imac you may not know that the keyboard shortcut for the display brightness on an imac dont do jack. So does anyone know of a shortcut that can turn the display off?

Ehh.... it's not really a shortcut, but if you go to the Apple Menu and press Sleep, it'll turn off the display. Hope this helps!

Does Control+Shift+Eject work to sleep the display using the keyboard? That is the key combo that works for my MacBoook, not sure if it works for the iMac too.
