Hi,

Is there a way I can create a keyboard shortcut to an application?

I would like that when I press option+command+T, TextEdit opens up.

Thanks,
Bob

I really don't know another way but can share the way I do it :)

As long as Applications are still at the top of the search results list in spotlight prefs.

Command Spacebar opens Spotlight > Type first few letters of the Apps name > Return key. TextEdit now open on the desktop.. tex was enough.

problem with command+option+T is it brings up the character palette in cocoa applications.

i think Butler can make keyboard shortcuts open applicaitions but make sure it is not in use by another application. for example option+F1 would be a good one as that is not a general application shortcut.
