Keyboard shortcut to power on or off a Canon iP67000D printer

I have an iMac (Intel) computer and a Canon iP67000D inkjet printer. Is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut that will allow me to power on or off the printer via the keyboard?

I'm a newbie, or sorts, at this stuff, so I'll be most appreciative of any suggestions!
