I bought a new MacBook Pro about 2 months ago. And to be honest, it is taking a lot of getting used to, particularly the keyboard (yeah, I know, shocker). It is not so much the key travel, but the positioning of the keys is causing me to mistype more than I've ever experienced in the past. Anyhow, not the primary point of this post.

I have also noticed "odd" corrections to mistyped words. While at 1st I was writing them off as being in my imagination, tonight I noticed one that boggles my mind!

I was in Mac Mail and typing in the message body. I noticed that a word was corrected to "cakewalk".

Now, to be upfront, I don't know what I was actually typing. Or what I mistyped to cause the system to correct it to cakewalk. But what an odd correction!

Is there some sort of underlying system dictionary that I can reset or something?

Thanks in advance!
