I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts. Many years ago, when I was on Windows, there was a key command that displayed what any key command did. Is there the same in Mac OS X? This is what I do before creating a new shortcut for that combo.
Example: I want to see what Ctrl+Option+T does. I press the special command, then Ctrl+Option+T and a window pops up to show the command (but doesn't invoke the command). I think I'm remembering this right. Now I have to just press the keys and see what happens. If the command is empty, it beeps. But sometimes the command is active, but I don't see an immediate result--which could cause me to erase a useful command.
This make sense?
