Keyboard slow to launch and dismiss

hello,

Since updating to the latest beta 11.2 the keyboard is very slow to launch and dismiss on my iPad Pro 9.7”.
I have no third party keyboards installed and it occurs regardless of which app I am using. I press to dismiss keyboard and the button highlights but nothing happens for a couple of seconds and then the keyboard goes off screen.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
