I have a new macbook w/ leopard, and 3 or 4 times now, i have been in the middle of using various apps, when I notice that I can't type anything. For example, I'll try and enter text in google, while in safari, or I'll try and type in a document in Pages, and none of the keystrokes are registering. When this happens, the function keys don't work either, but the trackpad and it's button do work. I then do a restart of the computer, and then everything works ok again.

Has anyone else had this happen? I'm wondering if I need to take the macbook in to apple for repair. Is it possible I've just accidentally pressed the wrong keystroke combination to disable the keyboard?

I'd say take it to an Apple store and have them look at it; if it's fine on restart and then keeps acting up, it's probably not something that you are doing but a hardware problem.
