Is there a menu or area within leopard that illustrates what a respective key's symbol is e.g. shift, option, control.

I know there are many sites that show you the symbol for each key (including this one), but I was wondering if os x itself had a breakdown of keys' symbols. I thought I came across it before in system preferences, but I can't seem to find it (possibly because it doesnt' exist).

Thanks.

im in Tiger, but try finders task bar at the top

Click "help" select "mac help"

type in "symbol" and select "symbols for special keys" in the search results.

System Preferences --> Keyboard & Mouse --> Keyboard --> Modifier Keys

That shows the symbols and allows you to reassign them if you wish.
