Hey gang! Looking for some guidance on a really strange issue I'm having with my mid-2015 MBP 13". Earlier today the keyboard and trackpad completely stopped working. I reset PRAM, SMC, and restarted things a few times and nothing fixed it. I took it in to the Genius Bar and they said there were no internal signs of damage, and they couldn't get anything to work either. They suggested sending it off for a $450 repair, and said the Logic Board might need to be replaced. I decided to take the machine home tonight to do a final backup (I have an external keyboard and mouse that are working) and when I got home, it was all of a sudden working again.

Does this sound like a hardware issue, or some strange software related issue? At this point I'm not sure what to do. My leaning is to send it off for repair even with it working again, but if I can save $450 that'd be great too. Any tips, similar experiences, or suggestions?

They also suggested doing a clean install and seeing if that fixes anything. I might give that a shot as well.

Thanks for any help!
