I have a Macbook Pro and all the sudden my keyboard is going on the fritz. Whenever I type letters the letter I type is not the letter that actually types. For example, when I type the letter 't' it types 'y' etc.

On the other hand, I can type numbers just fine. The command, ctrl, shift, and enter, backspace, and other similar keys work just fine.

I have no idea what could have caused this. I noticed the problem when I went to type in a password in Safari and it kept coming back as "invalid password." The reason my password was invalid was because my input on the keyboard is not the same as the output!

Any ideas?

I think someone got a hold of your computer and changed your keyboard layout :D

Go to

system preferences > Internation > Input Menu

here you will want to look for something like U.S QWERTY keyboard layout, and then you simly select that.

I hope i helped

I have no idea how that got changed! Thank you much.

At least I have a way to play a cool trick on my other mac friends :D
