Keyboard, wrong f8-f12 function?

Hey guys,

just bought my first mac, a new MacPro and everything is great. But I have this minor issue of the keyboard shortcuts for dashboard, expose etc are not working on their designated keys. They are instead on the last, next, vol. up and down buttons?

Is there any way to remedy this?

you have to hold the fn key + F8/9/etc.

you have to hold the fn key + F8/9/etc.

Or in keyboard prefs, check "use all F keys as standard function keys".
