Attention to details is crucial, especially when it comes to interactions.

👇🏼Here's a little breakdown of the keyboard interaction and visual feedback in visionOS.

1. Look at how the keys get highlighted when hovering with the fingers over them. ❤️
2. Pressing a key pushes it downwards on the Z axsis.
3. Additionally a little circular pulse expands outwards for visual confirmation.

Just looking at this is so satisfying, but typing in Vision Pro must be another level of satisfaction.

I gotta say that's very Apple-like keyboard, one for sure won't be affected by any butterflies.

Nice touches. I can’t imagine virtual typing being implemented any better.

But it is still virtual keyboard typing which I’m skeptical as to how good it can potentially be. Actually what I’m more interested in is whether or not the virtual keyboard will support QuickPath gesturing. A virtual keyboard seems like the perfect opportunity to use QP, which I find as fast as two thumb typing on a (glass) screen (ie. very fast).

There might be haptic (through Watch or glove?), visual and audio feedbacks - although tbh I don't need those if the keyrate response is high enough it will be pleasant to air typing. I suspect QP will be added through 3rd party just like on iPhone/iPad. Imagine how you would look like sliding your fingers in the air. Oh can't wait to see it becomes common for people to airplay in public (pun intended).
