Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to change my english keyboard on my unibody MacBook to a French one??

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's in System Preferences>International

Change the settings in Language, Formats, and Input Menu

Are the keyboard configurations the same? just different keys? If there just different keys then I'm sure you could get a set and just replace your current ones, but if its a whole different configuration then no. You would need a whole new Unibody.

I believe you can configure it when you order for a French keyboard.

If you have a unibody already and want to change it, then I don't necessarily think this is possible because aren't there a few different sized keys due to a slightly different layout? I could be wrong though.

Thank you very much for the info.
Its because i bough a refurbished MacBook on apple.ca and it is not possible to choose between a French or English keyboard. Maybe i should check with apple.

If anyone else had did that i would like to know. And also, is it possible to do the change by my own?
