hey all... I've got the new MBP, and I know what its keyboard feels like. But some people are telling me that the keyboard of the new MB and MBP, though they look alike, are different, with the new MBP seeming more like the old MBP keyboard, and the new MB keyboard taking upon the old MB keyboard. I haven't used the new MB keyboard before. Anyone know of this based on personal use?

I don't think there are any difference now. The new late 08 MacBook, MacBook Air and late 08 MacBook Pro all have the same chiclet keyboard IMO. I bet Apple is doing this to save their production cost. Economies of scale, eh.

The chicklet keyboard on my new MBP feels quite different than the one on my older white macbook. Can't really describe the difference, but it's definitely not the same.

I think the OP was asking whether if there is any difference in the keyboard on the new late 2008 models of MacBook and MacBook Pro.
