Keyboards skipping keys

Anyone else type 2 handed and notice that the iPhone5 will often skip keys when typing? It is extremely annoying. I wonder if it because of the new display technology.

This has always happened to me, since my first iPod touch running iOS 2 to my iPhone 4 to my iPhone 5, so it has to do with way the keyboard was written, not the hardware. It's annoying, and you'd think that after so many years of typing on iOS devices I would get over it, but I still haven't. I much prefer typing on my Galaxy Nexus (though that's about the only thing I like better about that phone).
