Hey guys,

I'm just helping my gf post this. She just got a Macbook and seems to me she's tried the "google" but still kinda stuck. Maybe she missed a step or two?

Anyways see if you can help with this:

I've got some error messages... help please!

The first one is that when I'm browsing with Safari I keep on getting this pop-up message:

"A keychain cannot be found to store 'Safari'."

It has two options for me to choose, "Cancel" or "Reset To Default".

I chose "Cancel" at first, then after a while the same message popped out.

So I clicked "Reset To Default" and then it asked me "Are you sure you want to reset your keychain environment to the default?" and so I clicked "Yes".

Then it asked me to enter my login password which will be used to create my new keychain. So I did.

But after a while the same message "A keychain cannot be found to store 'Safari'." popped out again!!! Wtf?

I tried googling for help, and I've used Keychain First Aid in Keychain Access to verify and repair configuration... but it still doesn't work.

Apple's support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1530?viewlocale=en_US) says to delete and rename some files but I don't even have those files! I can't find the "com.apple.security.plist" nor the "login.keychain" nor the "login_renamed1.keychain" files in the mentioned locations. I only have "System.keychain" under Keychains in the Library folder.

What's wrong? Have you ever experienced this problem before? It seems to be a common problem but I have no idea what it's about / how to fix it. I think this only occurs with Mac OSX 10.5? I'm really confused. =S

Anyway, another error I got was from this thing called ColorSync Utility.

I didn't even know when this app appeared in my dock but when I clicked on it I was in the section called "Profile First Aid" and I have two choices: "Repair" and "Verify".

When I clicked on "Verify", the following message showed:

Searching for profiles...
Checking 40 profiles...
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/CoatedFOGRA27.icc
Tag 'desc': Tag size is not correct.
Verify done - found 1 bad profile.

And then when I clicked on "Repair", the following message showed:

Searching for profiles...
Checking 40 profiles...
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/CoatedFOGRA27.icc
Tag 'desc': Tag size is not correct.
The file is locked. Could not be fixed.
Repair done - 0 out of 1 profiles fixed.

Do you know what this is about? Could it be the Adobe stuff I installed earlier? I've also installed Adobe Flash Player 10 but I don't remember if this error occurred before or after that. I think it was before. Sigh.

Thanks!
