My login information for internet sites is not being picked up by Keychain. For example, logins for google, imdb and this site, I expect a dialog to appear informing me that the username/password has been added to the Keychain, but it's not happening.

Looking at the keychain app I notice the only entry is for 'Safari Forms Autofill' and no entries under internet. Is there a possible reason why Safari is failing to link with Keychain?

I can't find any options indicating that keychain has somehow been disabled.. nothing under preferences. And no apparent problems when 'verifying'. Any pointers?

Thanks

I'm not an Autofill user, so I'm a bit clueless about the whole thing, but I'm assuming you've turned on Autofill in Safari's preferences?

Thanks, it was exactly that. Don’t I feel stupid!
I spent hours looking through settings and reading the keychain help file, and like an idiot I didn't look at the Safari prefs.

It's often the obvious things that you never think of...glad you got it sorted. :D
