Could someone direct me to a 'SIMPLE' set of instructions regarding the use of Keychain app? I've looked at keychain.app and tried to figure it out, but to no avail. I still have questions.

Like most of Mac OS, it's intuitive. It's a simple, secure vault protected by your administrative password, where all your password-proteceted files are stored.

A simple search is all you need to do to find information:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keychain_(Mac_OS)
http://www.mostofmymac.com/articles/the-key-to-keychain-effective-use-of-apple-keychain/

Word to the wise...on here many view asking a question to which the answer could be easily found with a Google or MRoogle search is lazy. You will be flamed.

Agree that it should be intuitive; however, I find a lot of certificates listed there and some of them are in countries I never visited to my knowledge. I am skeptical when I see certificate with addresses in some other country. e.g., Cape Town Zaire, Vienna Austria- why are these certificates in my file? I do not want these certificates to be able to access my system (is that possible?) or me to access theirs. Is the only way to handle this is to select 'never trust'?
