In the migration from Mavericks, not all of my keychain entries for sites made the migration. For the sites that did not make it, I can't get keychain to let update new combos of user and passwords...and then auto filling when warring at the site. Something is wrong in keychain land......at least on my machine.

You're not alone.
I activated keychain on Yosemite setup and it instantly threw out my keychain on all my devices for some reason and then the verification codes sent from Apple were garbage. It drove me up the wall.
I panicked, scrambled back to Mavericks to shore it up in case I lose it. Not the best way to start with Yosemite.
Edit: Managed to get Keychain on board with device approvals.
