Keychain question. I’ve mostly avoided “keychain” options in the past as I didn’t know how secure they were. However, in quick clicking, sometimes I do save log-in information to keychain even though I didn’t understand it.

Is there any way to wipe on all my keychain inputs and start over, selecting that option to save logon info IF I want to? I’m guessing a complete factory reset would do that job, but I would rather avoid going that route.

If I go into Finder/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access and deleted “all items” and then rebooted, would my MBA start regenerating new Keychain passwords?

I think where I went astray was when I changed passwords and didn’t select the keychain option. When I go into a website where I changed the password, I get a password error. When that happens, I then have to go into my password program (1Password), copy and then pass the correct PW. A bit of a pain.

I am pretty sure you do NOT want to erase the keychain of the system!

You may want to erase the passwords belonging to certain web sites save with Safari. To do so go into the settings of Safari. You will find all your saved passwords and can erase them if you like to do so.
