Keylocking?

Story:
I use small desks at school that will fit my MBP or a textbook and notebook, not both. I can however fit both by place one on top of the other, but this creates a problem. Keys and the trackpad clicker(?) <insert correct name> get hit and cause problems.

Question:
Is There an App that will lock the input devices with a key combo and only become responsive again with that combo hit again.

(note it doesn't have to work exactly like that but on the same premise>

thats pretty close func keys still work but this good and should be very helpful.
