Keynote' 08 Object hyperlink not working

I followed the instructions on p.63 of the Keynote08_UserGuide.pdf to create hyperlinks. Text hyperlink is working fine but when I tried object hyperlink and set the link to slide x (where x is any number greater than one), Keynote always go back to slide 1. Am I missing something or is it a bug?
I am using version 4.0.1 Thanks.
