I'm having an incredibly frustrating experience trying to do something in Keynote which takes all of 10 seconds in Powerpoint. (Unfortunately, using Powerpoint here is not an option.) There are multiple ways to resolve my issue manually (e.g. manually drawing in lines, etc...) but I need a solution that allows me to render my chart the way I want it without a lot of additional manual tweaking (chart data is going to change frequently and while i'm the one building this presentation, the person updating the information is the very definition of "computer illiterate." (She can't manage to work her email, let alone do anything semi-sophisticated in an app like Keynote.)

All I want to do here is be able to plot some points in a keynote line chart and NOT have them run into the left and right borders of the chart. For lack of a better term, I want to insert some buffering or padding to the right and left sides of the chart.

Have scoured Google, various forums and even Lynda.com. Can't find a answer.

Attached is a screenshot that demonstrates the issue and the solutions I've tried this far, as well as how the chart SHOULD look (done in Powerpoint which, again, is not an option for this particular project.)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
