Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought during the iPad Air preview it was stated that the Air would be available in Black, Space Gray and Silver. At Apple.com it does not list Black as a choice.

Please clarify.

You have 2 choices, White/Silver or Black/Space Gray

The White/Black refer to the front panel and the Silver/Space Gray refer to the back panel.

The White & Black meaning the colour of the front.
