I'm looking to get a retina macbook pro to replace a mac pro that I use for presentation purposes.
Currently, I use a mac pro as a presentation machine where I use one display output to go to a projector to show keynote slides and then I use the secondary output to display to a larger monitor to display presenter notes for the speaker.
With the release of the rMBP, I think I may now have the option to use the new laptop to replace the mac pro for this purpose. With the rMBP, could I have one output (thunderbolt/displayport) going out to a projector and use the HDMI output to go to a presenter notes monitor? Or do presentations still function the same as they do on older macbooks where I can only use one external monitor for keynote presentations.
