hey quick question, I am currently in australia and would like to watch the keynote. where can I watch it and what time will it be at for australia ?

I'm not sure if Australia has different time zones but the event is at 1:00 p.m. EST. If I'm not mistaken that'd make it early morning in Australia.

There hasn't been any news of Apple streaming it, so you can't watch it live. You can follow liveblogs here, or at Engadget and ThisIsMyNext.

The time for us here at Melbourne is 4AM on Oct 5th. Hope it helped!

You could figure is out easily using the clock application on your iPhone. Sydney is 18 hours ahead of Cupertino. So 10 am Tuesday plus 18 hours gives you 4 am Wednesday in Sydney/Canberra/Melbourne, but 1 am in Perth.

I was wondering the same thing, because the event will start at 5 PM and I won't be able to watch it until 8 PM. But if I try to search the keynote video, I will see a thousands of spoilers. So it's quite impossible, until someone posts a link before the keynote, where the video should be.

Here's a countdown timer.

4am in Sydney... ergh.

They haven't done a live stream for some time now which is a shame, the recent live streams have been fantastic.

I guess the press didn't feel such a need to turn up when they could simply cover the feed.

Will be a much smaller venue this time around too.

Should be a podcast version out later that day.

You could visit www.macrumors.com and check the top of the page for the countdown. Then add that time to your current time.

Subtract. Australia is ahead of US on thje time line

I know where the timer is, but if I went to Apple's website, I'd instantly see a big iPhone 5 screen. :/

/e Oh, thanks for the Apple events link :)

No live feed because the news isn't that big this year. Also why the venue is small: A small venue for a small 4S.
