Hey all, I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right place, I wasn't sure if this qualified as a Mac Application question or a Graphic Design question, so please excuse me if I guessed wrong.

My issue is that I created a Keynote 08 presentation for work and they liked it so much, they want to use it as a tutorial on one of our websites. I exported it it as a .swf file and it exported out at about 5.5MB .swf (which I thought is on the acceptable side, given today's broadband speeds) but it took about 30-40 seconds to load off our servers.

I was told that our servers "aren't really equipped to handle Flash" and they said that any Flash file has to be < 3MB in order to load in a reasonable timeframe. So I went in and optimized all of the graphics I used, I actually chopped the total image file size down from ~6.35MB to ~1.7MB. I removed all reflections and shadows I added in Keynote as well as removed any unnecessary animations and now it's exporting out a 5.8MB .swf file! WTF!?! I re-saved my Keynote, deleted the .swf file and tried re-exporting and again, I got another 5.8MB .swf.

I am using a plain white "theme" as my background. In case someone brings that up.

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance :)
