keynote page setup

When I set my keynote page to portrait I can't get the slide format to mirror the page size. It is always 11 wide by 8.5 high. How do I change the ruler and page aspect ratio to show portrait rather than landscape?

not sure if this is what you want. In the document inspector on the document tab is a slide size popup. If you click that you can set a custom slide size.
