Keynote presentation mode and Spaces/Expose

Hello,
How it is possible to switch of desktop (using Spaces) or go to Exposé during a Keynote presentation (without stopping the presentation) ? The keyboard shortcuts of Spaces don't have effect in a Keynote presentation. Is there a way to program the mouse ? or a Apple remote controller ?
