The keynote remote app is listed under iPhone and iPod Touch. Will it also work with iPad? I want to use an iPad to control keynote on a MacBook.
Can the app also control a virtual pointer like the iPad?

I know there is keynote for iPad, but the resolution of the ipad and the external screen don't (want to) match. (I asked about this in a different thread, but didn't get any response.)

You can technically run Keynote Remote on the iPad -- as a zoomed up version of the iPhone/iPod Touch app, so it'll all be pixellated and whatnot, but it will run. However, you won't get the virtual pointer.
