I don't think they're even doing a live broadcast this year... just a rebroadcast via quicktime later. could be wrong tho.

That would really suck. I have watched the last two from my workplace. I hope they release the cood. I guess I could always swim across the bay. Think it is too late to register?

The official MWSF sight shows the keynote to occur on Tues, 1/11/2005, 09:00 AM - 10:30 AM Pacific (12P-1:30P Eastern)

Sorry to be so nit-picky, here is the link to the official site's featured events page:

Good call. I assumed it was the first day, but you're right. I could have sworn it was 1, but if its at nine it would have to be 12. Glad we got that ironed out.

How do i set up my dish to receive the keynote?

You can't do it with a direcTV or dish network dish. You have to have a "tunable dish" that can point at different satelites and decode the signal...

Its called a C-band sat. It has a tranceiver that can cost upwards of $10,000. Its mainly used for network to affiliate communications, and intra-global telecommunication.

On another note the stream from the event should be posted here as well, http://stream.apple.akadns.net/
That's a static url of the latest apple event, so that will be the first to get the link.
