Keynote to PowerPoint transitions and timing

I am preparing a Keynote (09) presentation which must be exported to PowerPoint for presenting in front of a large audience on someone else's Windows laptop (ugh). I am keeping the presentation as simple as possible to avoid problems, but I want to make sure two things work: transitions and timing. I don't have a recent version of PowerPoint, so I am hoping someone can tell me:

If I use the "fade" transition, how will this translate to PowerPoint?

If I set up the slides to advance automatically, how or will this translate to PowerPoint?
