Keynote'09 very very slow

After upgrading to iWork'09, I've found that dragging around graphical elements like boxes on a slide is unbearably jerky and painful. The only way to get anything even close to where I want is to try and drop it nearby and then cursor-key it into position.

Driving me nuts. Saved my day when I noticed that iWork'08 was not removed in the install.

Anyone else have / heard of this? Using a MBP 2.0GHz with 2GB..

Under Preferences, see if Object Spacing & Sizing is turned on. For me, that brought overall performance to a crawl. Turning it off fixed the issue.
