Keypad bug on iphone 3.0

Not sure if someone has posted this yet, searched with no results

I noticed this when i was adding an international number using the + on the keypad under the contacts/phone application. When i click on the bottom left button slowly nothing happens, when i tap it twice quickly i get a black button.

seems like a mistake to me..

Pressing it twice activates the lock function ( ie the keyboard stays in symbol mode until you press it again rather than switching back after you press a key)

it should display in blue to show it's locked but as you say it's just a black blob. Definitely a bug: great catch!
Have you reported it to apple?
